This was a unique project that Almar did not hesitate to accommodate, even though it was not a traditional demo. How a Bathroom Demolition Runs, Step by Step

Free on-site look. We work out what is coming out, what is staying, and how debris leaves without wrecking the hallway or the stairs.
Water and power off. The bathroom is isolated at the shut-off, and any circuit in the room is killed at the panel before a tile comes off.
Protect the route. Floor protection from the bathroom door to the front door, plus a sealed doorway so tile dust does not travel through the house.
Fixtures out first. Vanity, toilet, tub or shower base and any glass come out in one pass so the room is clear to work in.
Tile, board and subfloor. Wall tile and backer board come off, and the floor is taken down to the level the new build needs. Subfloor damage from an old leak usually shows up here.
Haul and clean. Everything is removed and the room is swept ready for the plumber and the tiler.
