How a Pool Removal Runs, Step by Step

Free on-site look. We check the pool type, whether it is concrete, vinyl or fibreglass, and how a machine reaches the backyard. Narrow side yards are the single biggest cost factor.
Decide partial or full. A partial removal punctures and buries the shell after the top is taken out. A full removal takes everything away. Full costs more and is the one that keeps the lot simple to build on later.
Drain and disconnect. Water is drained to the right place, and the pump, heater, gas and electrical feeds are isolated.
Break out the structure. Decking, coping and the shell are broken up in a controlled sequence.
Haul or backfill. Debris is loaded out, then the void is backfilled with clean fill and compacted in layers so the ground settles evenly.
Grade and finish. The area is graded to drain away from the house and left ready for sod or landscaping.

What It Costs
