This was a unique project that Almar did not hesitate to accommodate, even though it was not a traditional demo. They were responsive to my initial request and scheduled a phone call with me to discuss details. Within a day, they provided me with a quote and details of the job, and were able to schedule my job on a very short turnaround. The team showed up and worked exceptionally hard, over one very long day, to get the job done. They carefully handled all the cabinets and appliances to ensure they were not damaged. How a Deck Removal Runs, Step by Step

Free on-site look. We measure the deck, check what it is built from, and work out how debris gets from the backyard to the truck. Access decides the price more often than size does.
Disconnect anything live. Deck lighting, a gas line to a barbecue or a hot tub feed all have to be isolated before we start.
Strip the surface. Deck boards and railings come off first, which is also the point where anything worth salvaging gets set aside.
Take down the frame. Joists, beams and ledger board come out, and the ledger connection to the house is opened up carefully so the wall behind it is not damaged.
Pull the footings. Concrete piers and posts are dug out where you want the ground clear. Say so at quote stage, because it changes the price.
Haul and level. Everything leaves the property, the ground is raked flat and the area is ready for sod, a patio or a new build.
