Demolition Services Lakefield
Lakefield, officially known as the Village of Lakefield, is a community within the municipality of Selwyn in Peterborough County, Ontario, Canada. Situated along the Otonabee River, Lakefield is known for its picturesque landscapes and historical significance. The village has a rich heritage, reflected in its well-preserved architecture and local museums. Lakefield also serves as a hub for boating and other water-related activities due to its proximity to the Trent-Severn Waterway.
Lakefield sits where the Otonabee meets the Trent Severn locks, and much of the demolition work here is on older village homes and the cottages that line Stony Lake, Clear Lake and Chemong. The Township of Selwyn issues the demolition permit, and anything built before the 1990s normally needs a designated substance survey with the application, which matters in a village with this much century housing. Our crews come from Toronto through Peterborough, so Lakefield, Bridgenorth, Ennismore and Young Point are covered on the same trip, with the travel built into the quote. Village lots are tight and shoreline lots are tighter, so we look at access and the debris route before we quote, not on the morning of the job. Full teardowns, interior strip-outs, deck and boathouse removals: call (647) 575-5085 with the address.
