Working to a Renovation Contractor’s Schedule
This was a partner job. The renovation contractor had a 4,000 square foot, century-old house to extend, and needed specific sections of the interior stripped before the addition started a few days later. Our part of the schedule was estimated at five days, and the addition could not begin until we were out.
The house’s age set the rules: floors protected before anything came down, and the original door frames removed carefully and salvaged rather than broken out. With that in place the crew took out 2,000 square feet of interior, section by section, in three days rather than five, and the debris left with us to an approved facility as the work went.
The contractor got the house two days early and we are scheduled to return for the exterior wall removal once the addition is up. Renovators who need a demolition partner that fits their timeline can start with our interior demolition service.
