Permits for Interior Demolition Projects
Before you can begin demolishing the interior of your property you will need to obtain a Building Permit. Regardless of whether you are looking to only partially gut your home, or completely gut the entire property, you will need to still apply for the same permit. The permit application process can vary depending on the scope of work and the local zoning bylaws, this can make it a confusing process.
It is a good idea to ask your renovation contractor to apply for the required demo permits as part of the overall process. This can make the process slightly less complicated as all of the necessary information is available. However, if you would prefer for ALMAR Demolition to apply for the correct demo permits, then we can of course help.
